Is my data actually private?
Yes. ExtRenew runs entirely on your device. It reads Chrome's own list of installed extensions and stores your review history locally, using Chrome's standard storage. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. Full detail on the privacy policy.
Why does ExtRenew need the "manage your extensions" permission?
That's the only way to read what your other extensions can access and to enable, disable, or remove one when you click those buttons yourself. It's never used automatically, only in direct response to something you click.
How do I stop the 30-day reminders?
You can't turn them off entirely, that's the whole point, but you can snooze one for a day or a week from the notification, or from the toolbar popup if it's already overdue.
I found a bug, or a permission is described wrong. What now?
Email hello@extrenew.com with what you saw and, if possible, which extension it was about. That's genuinely the fastest way to get it fixed.
